Fractured - first release!
Finally, after a long grueling time fixing the most random of bugs, the game is finally in a playable ish state.
Yes, I know there are only 3 items and 2 enemies thus far, but I have set the groundwork to quickly introduce many more items and enemies, and also levels. Speaking of levels, they are randomly generated on each time you enter the portal, and there are a LOT of possible combinations of buildings. I will be adding MANY more buildings and tilesets and levels in the future, I don't want the game becoming bland after 2 stages afterall.
https://trello.com/b/IS0I6JRC/fractured is my Trello board which shows what I am doing, what I will be working on and what I've spent the past few hours crying about. I regularly use this whilst I am working on the game, so expect many changes on this board as the game progresses.
So Where next?
Well, now I need to add many more items and enemies. Sure, there are a few things left to do in the menus and stuff to make them look cleaner and give the player options and such, but that is optional at this point - WE NEED GAMEPLAY.
Thanks for reading, and expect regular devlogs for each update I do. Hopefully I am able to release weekly updates to the game as I've started my summer holiday now (Bye bye GCSE), but we'll see.
